  Somehow both a refreshing take on the ethical questions associated with AI and yet it still touches on all of those same themes brought up in hypotheticals, the news, and in other movies with a flourish that doesn’t spoon feed audiences any messages  or insult their intelligence.

  Crazy how if a movie doesn’t spoon feed audiences “racism is bad” people then go on to say that this movie is racist. What happened to subtext? Just because the characters repeat common points made by real life racists and those points don’t get explicitly defeated in debate by another character doesn’t mean that the movie is advocating for those racist viewpoints. The movie ends on the message that “hate is baggage”. Is that not explicit enough?
