Real Genius 1985
This one was a lot of fun from start to finish. I can’t really emphasize enough how much it felt like the characters were genuinely having fun and goofing off every time they hung out, which is really important for this kind of movie. It Came from Beneath the Sea 1955
I liked it. Sea monsters are cool. It was nothing particularly special, though. I’m intrigued by Lesley’s constant serving and her mysterious polycule situation going on with the two men. I watched it with friends and we talked over the portions that dragged, which I think really helped the experience. I don’t know if I would have enjoyed it nearly as much alone.
