I feel really sick but that was a good movie. I liked when Mickey was experiencing every kind of suffering and he still stayed nice and still cared about other people. And I liked all the other nice people and the Ohms. I think I would watch this again to show someone else but I don’t think I’d watch it again by myself because it’s kind of horrible and painful. Really glad it had a happy ending.

The Black Cauldron 1985
On its own this is a fun fantasy adventure with some interesting animation to offer. Personally, I prefer the books but I still enjoy this movie :) I really love the way the effects like fire, smoke, vision scenes, etc are animated. I think Gurgi should have been more nasty and scrungly. It’s a shame the short runtime forces the characters to be a lot flatter than in the books, not to mention the characters we completely skip! The backgrounds in this are gorgeous and there’s some really bombastic, squash and stretch, looney toons choreography here.
Wish there was more of this.
