As a true Madame Morrible, this truly was made for me! Ariana is spectacular, Cynthia is quiet and fantastic, Bowen is king, and just a truly perfect visual feast. Pacing is excellent and yes it should be two movies.
My friends and I decided it’s really for the best that Jonathan Bailey is gay because it would cause mayhem if he were not.

Oof this was genuinely awful to watch. I had the primer of the Today, Explained episode so I knew generally what to expect going in.
Despite that, I find myself truly horrified that this depicts such an extreme reality that does not feel at all improbable. We may be headed for doom and I don’t think this movie will get us there faster but I fear it gives some guidelines to follow.
