The best monster movie I have ever seen. Tells an emotionally dramatic tale with the human characters. Deals with the themes of PTSD, guilt, and redemption very well in a postwar world. Then, of course, there’s Godzilla. Not only does he have a badass and truly terrifying design here, but the visuals and sounds are fantastic!

The Last Dance 2020
Although heavily focused on Michael Jordan, I absolutely love almost everything about this documentary. Jumping between the titular “Last Dance” season and every season that came before it was a nice way to show how the team grew and battled to get to that incredibly difficult achievement of 6 championships in 8 years.

Bob Marley: One Love 2024
Bob Marley: One Love isn’t a great biopic but it certainly isn’t bad either in my opinion. Giving it a slightly above average rating as I’m biased to how much I love Marley’s music, and there was a surprising number of his songs incorporated into this film. Also, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch played their roles incredibly well.

School of Rock 2003
School of Rock is such a fun movie to revisit. Jack Black is the best and the final song absolutely slaps. Love live rock & roll!
