  An amazing film with some great acting, a great story and NIN’s best score in a while. There are some faults - the last minute can be seen (rightfully so) as cringe inducing but I absolutely loved it! - and the director uses way too much flair for an already proven talent, but why pick apart the small things?!

  One of my favorites films of 2024 for sure.

  Drive My Car 2021

  This isn’t a bad film at all. There’s actually a good amount of great stuff in here and a wonderful performance from lead Hidetoshi Nishijima. However, at 3 hours, it’s filled with just too many unnecessary scenes and because of this, I can’t fully recommend it. I’m not sure how one would recut the film to make it a tighter (and maybe even better) film - that’s for a much smarter person than myself - but I would be the first in line to see THAT movie.
