  Really, really bad final shot.
  There were a lot of parts of this I thought were exaggerated but I guess they were actually true - at least by some people’s accounts. Messed up!
  Stan and Strong are both amazing in this.
  The parts that humanize Trump are the best while the parts that demonize feel a little hokey. But I guess they actually happened so I don’t know what to make of them. Overall great film that more people should see.

  I’m puzzled by the meddling reviews for this film. On the hand, the film is a profoundly negative experience. It is violent, stressful, and above all, claustrophobic. No one can do claustrophobia like Aronofsky. Because of this, I understand why audiences may not love it. But all of these effects feel carefully and creatively orchestrated by Aronofsky,  which would lead me to believe that critics would love it. I guess not.
