Klute 1971
It has always been rare that we get a picture where the cinematography, the writing, the directing, and the acting are all in efforts to out do one another while also seeming to just come off as naturual and not trying to hard. Everything about this movie is gorgeous and it just gets better every time I see it. Upgraded it to a full and deserving five stars this time.

Brilliant Bong Joon-ho movie which at this point is almost redundant to say. Also a unique and wonderful performance by Robert Pattinson. The thing Bong seems to understand about satirizing capitalism that most of his contemporaries never learned from the masters like Gibson is that you also have to be funny sometimes. It doesn't hurt your drama, in fact it often helps created a deeper and richer experience if you know when to let the audience laugh. Why? Because life is ridiculous and we might not all escape it but it sure can be hilarious even while we sell ourselves off the the corps.
