A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984
this unique concept for a slasher movie leads to some awesome death scenes. baby johnny depp and the main girl are alright in here. the mom was basically Xanny'd up the whole time though lmao. did her face ever move?
when I saw this as a kid I didn't like how Freddy was so badly punked by the lead, dude falling all over the place like Joe Pesci in Home Alone. but now I appreciate the absurdity of the whole thing

The Invisible Man 1933
Not the best movie to come from Whale's work at Universal but still pretty entertaining. Breezes by at just over an hour, The Invisible Asshole basically terrorizes everyone around him for much of the run time. Lead performance is hilarious as he delivers his play by play commentary while throwing bicycles at people and pushing strangers off a cliff. Cool effects work too considering the time it was made, the invisibility effects with floating clothing was impressive.
