Saltburn 2023

A film that desperately wanted to be about class but really wasn't. Despite the director being an extreme upper classian, it felt really weird and her commentary. Thought keoghan was terrific though, but the narrative let him down. Pacing was strange too. Liked the sex kink stuff, thought it was going to be about reclaiming power status through sex which I think I would have preferred. Feels like a film by rich people trying to have something to say can't lie. Liked some of the shots though innit
The Beach Boys 2024

Was interesting inherently because of the beach boys (my literal guys) lore and the archival footage but I think the documentary making was boring and they could've done so much more than they did which is a shame
