This film will always fascinate me.
I watched it for the first time years ago and gave it this rating after enjoying myself (mainly with the soundtrack). After rewatching it, I feel the same way but now with a greater admiration.
I could go on forever about Sakamoto’s gift to the world that is the soundtrack, with its heavenly notes upon ghostly tones, but that would make this entirely redundant.
