  Love Lies Bleeding 2024

  It’s been a little over a year since I saw this and I wanted to come back to it to see if it held up. It does. 

  It has the same problems as I mentioned in my first review. But all the things that I loved about it the first time around also haven’t changed. 

  The cast is great. The story is great. The cinematography and lighting are great. And I’m a sucker for gory practical effects. 

  I’m glad I came back to this.

  Fast Times at Ridgemont High 1982

  This movie is ok. 

  It got two laughs out of me and that’s it. 

  So Sean Penn is barley in this but is the face of this movie. My question is was he always the face or was he the popular character so they made him the face afterwards. 

  What surprised me more was the early Nicolas Cage minor role and that he’s credited as Nicolas Coppola. 

  This movie looks great on film and that’s about it.

  Decided to watch this movie on a cloudy day. And as the movie finished, the sun started peaking through.
