I regret not seeing this sooner when I used to have Netflix (but I’m also blaming Netflix’s algorithm for sweeping this under the rug and recommending Is it Cake?). But I’m glad to have finally seen this after all these years.
I really enjoyed this. It’s a little slow at points but that’s really it.

Love Lies Bleeding 2024
It’s been a little over a year since I saw this and I wanted to come back to it to see if it held up. It does.
It has the same problems as I mentioned in my first review. But all the things that I loved about it the first time around also haven’t changed.
The cast is great. The story is great. The cinematography and lighting are great. And I’m a sucker for gory practical effects.
I’m glad I came back to this.
