Not sure if it was bad but sure it wasn’t good. A lot of good ingredients — Ayo, costumes, setting…but all speaking different languages, like nothings agreeing with each other.

Whether that’s the outrageous reputation of the star not going far enough, or the actors both having intense tonal conversations but almost like they’ve memorized the script alone and aren’t reacting/engaging with the everyone else in the room, or simply the slow build to all out whiplash-inducing sprint that sortof just…ends? Pretty sure there’s like 2 more hours of a solid movie that got left on the cutting room floor. Here’s to hoping!

It had so much heart and I liked the creatures and I honestly think this didn’t get the roll out it deserved because it referenced Trump so much with the idea he would lose. Which is maybe not the best to be reminded of while you watch a movie but I feel like the heart of the movie won out. Idk I left feeling very warm and happy

Roommates cried, I didn’t, talked aloud and ended up predicting everything, that’s why this movie is perfect. You see it coming, like so much of life, and yet you must live through it and feel its depths to transform, to grow, to become.
