  so much is left unsaid in this film; basel's footage is haunting and painful, but yuval's presence creates a kind of tension that cannot be resolved. it's frustrating to watch the demolition of palestinian homes, the grief endured by harun's mother, followed by conversations with yuval where he simply refuses to engage. over and over they remind him that the soldiers committing these atrocities could be his brothers, his cousins, his uncles -- at the very least, they are settlers…
