  I expected this to be better than it was, because of the reviews I'd seen, and Maika Monroe normally only being in things that are amazing. But it was too much of a slow burn, it's like it tried so hard to be unsettling, but in doing so was just boring most of the time, and I predicted every "twist" within the first hour of the film.

  I think they intentionally chose the selfish people to interview to low-key focus on the destruction of surrounding culture that summit fever causes, without being too in your face or preachy about it. I thought it was smart.
