  Bong Joon Ho's weakest script by a mile but the cast is all winners. Miraculously funny line reads throughout this thing. Oddly lacking in the usual bite and follow through of his other works. Love my good friend mickey.

  More icey than usual Anderson. Suppose that's part of it. Hell of a knot to undo here, but the undoing is the text of the film itself. Dealing with things infinitely larger than us; incomprehensible things that we try to understand, perform a person who maybe does, and attempt to reconcile those two selves. Did it leave me wanting more clarity? Yes, but so did the actors within the framing device of the film.

  Cements Schwartzman as the best actor Anderson's ever worked with. Understands and anchors the deep, confused melancholy.
