Very in depth view of Jackie Kennedy. Kind of interesting going in and out of past and present timelines. I expected them to use real archive footage but it was pleasant to see a re-created take instead.

The Color Purple 1985
This was my first time seeing The Color Purple. Whoopi Goldberg knocked this one out of the park. I cannot believe the range of emotions and growth seen in her character. Accompanied with the directing of Steven Spielberg, this film completely took me by surprise. I was not expecting to see such a beautiful picture and storyline. The way the culture was represented demonstrated a new perspective of culture I had never seen. I would suggest this movie to anyone I know.

Million Dollar Baby 2004
This film was excellent. Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, and Hillary Swank. The way that Clint Eastwood lead this film was terrific. His demeanor and leadership was predictable, it's the way you would imagine him to do so. The way Hilary Swank's character progresses and grows is powerful. Seeing her in this coming-of-age sequence is really interesting. There was so much growth in her personality and perspective. I appreciated how they let this story line play out. It did not feel rushed or overlooked, each shot and each line of dialogue was very intentional.
