Impressive story telling / pacing through flashbacks pertinent to game show questions.
Enjoyed the plotline pieced together. Not worth sitting in extended scenes of emotional trauma. Similar vibe to Lion, but without the redeeming/balanced elements.
Very depressing/hopeless themes. Well executed, just not a film for me.
Won't watch again.

Very well done. Felt every emotion possible, then had a good sob at the end.
Dev Patel'a and Sunny Pawar's acting was world class. Can't believe Sunny was a first-time child actor. Beautifully cast. I can still see his fearful, peircing gaze from the opening scenes.
Fun Google maps spotlight in a time capsule-y way.
Appreciated that the relationship in the end of the movie didn't steal the spotlight. It aided in the story telling and portraying the emotional journey…
