Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie 2012
I’ve gotta be honest…while I love the chaotic, absurdist style of Tim & Eric’s work, this is not a ~good movie~ in any sense of the words.
Their shtick is perfect for standalone skits, even when you’re viewing them one after another over the course of a 30min television block. There might have been a way for them to create a feature-length film that didn’t wear out its welcome, but it would have taken a script with FAR more connective tissue…

The Assessment 2024
I was immediately intrigued by the premise- I love dystopian shit. The performances were incredible- Alicia Vikander was especially captivating…if the movie itself were a future Best Picture nominee, I think she’d be a front runner for best actress. The rest of the cast also showed up.
For me, the third act was not just overwhelming- it retroactively made the first two (incredible at times) acts less enjoyable. The movie touched on a lot of interesting topics but the ending…
