It’s a lot of fun. There’s a lot to like and obviously these films were revolutionary for animation and visual stylings.
The sound design continues to be amazing. However, this film has no conclusion. It spends a lot of its time on unnecessary shenanigans that to me kinda felt flat. I really enjoyed Mumbai but then we kinda entered a bit of a lull.
Didn’t appreciate a corporation turning punk into a shitty little meme. Really thought we wouldn’t bring…
Enjoyed my time with it. Liked the self deprecating jokes on the whole Spider-Man backstory dump. Was a little overdone in parts. Some of the other jokes were just a tad cringe.
Visually stunning though.
I first watched this show, when I didn’t know myself or what was happening to me. This show taught me that there is a place for people like me in the world and revisiting it years later. I still am filled with all the shock, heartbreak and joy that the show first gave me.
I cannot thank the wachowski sisters enough for making this show, because it’s part of what made me who I am today, and what kept me around so that I could become who I am today.
I love this fucking show.
