Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
Yikes. I really didn’t find a lot of redeeming qualities in this one. It took all of the things that made Ragnorok great, and oversaturated the film with them to the point of boredom. I love Waititi’s type of humour, however with the sheer volume of it in this one, the stakes unfortunately felt incredibly low, and left the audience with very little reason to care about anything.

Promising Young Woman 2020
This is an intense, and powerful watch a lot of the time. It’s confronting and thought provoking. The ending maybe pulled me out of the realism of the film a little and maybe didn’t quite land for me, but I also respect the angle it took based on the subject matter. A worthwhile watch.

I have some gripes with some of the ways the men in this film view things (let’s say I found some things slightly toxic), however when this one hits, it really hits.
