An absolute masterpiece. Blending impeccable writing with boundary pushing yet familiar storytelling, The Princess Bride (1987) has everything you could hope for in a movie. I have watched it probably more than any other movie, and yet each time still feels like a fresh, new experience. It truly is the apex of an era. Unfortunately, it doesn't upset nearly enough Christians, so it only gets a 4 1/2
