I think I need another watch.
After my first viewing here are a jumbled mess of thoughts.
The lack of score is somehow jarring and unnoticeable. The sheer tension of scenes had me on the edge of my seat, and right now I can’t think of another film that is able to do that.
That same tension is completely gone almost anytime Carla Jean is on screen. She’s such a bright spot and so sweet until the end.

This viewing blew every expectation I had out of the water. I simply wasn’t aware a movie viewing experience could be this good.
I don’t ever think the Nolan/Zimmer combo will ever get old.
Matthew McConaughey is spectacular and I love the family aspect.
I love Anne Hathaway but her “love crosses everything and I wanna see my baby boy who might be dead” line really lost me
