Crazy girl shit gonna go... Apparently the director of this went to Hillsboro which like... this is totally the work of an IB kid LMAO. I don't really have a think piece on this movie, but the atmosphere that was created of just like impending-doom was done very well. The Brutalist 2024
It’s kind of hilarious that a film about brutalist architecture which is like… famously un-colorful was more colorful than Wicked. I finally got 4 hours to spare and saw a 10:30AM showing of this. i feel like i would've enjoyed this a lot more if I hadn’t known about the AI usage. Every time I would enjoy something, (especially in regard to Adrien Brody’s performance) I would remember that this movie is covered in AI slop and get disappointed. Beautiful cinematography nonetheless and the girl who played Maggie served levels of cunt I have only known in dreams. Happy Oscars season.
