  Father of the Bride is directed by Charles Shyer and stars Steve Martin as George Banks, an overprotective father when he finds out his daughter Annie is getting married. 

  This is a classic to many, and I thought I’d rewatch it to see if it is still as charming as it was when I first saw it. Thankfully this movie 100% still holds up to this day.

  Even if you’re not associated with Gardner-Webb, this is an underdog story you can get behind. You’ll stand up and cheer from beginning to end, it’s well written and very well paced out. Congrats to all the people who were involved in making this project. This was arguably one of the proudest moments in the school’s history and glad I have the opportunity to look back on it again and again.
