As a film, The Crow really isn't that bad. It has some great action with a half-decent story.
However, as an adaptation, it couldn't have been less faithful to the original story. The entire idea of 'The Crow' is learning to forgive yourself, an idea never present in the film. The beauty of 'The Crow' is the idea that Eric loves Shelly so much that he wants to die to be with her again. The comic ends leaving a hopeful…
