  I was ready for funny and stupid but felt like it was so self aware of how stupid it was the result wasn’t that funny.

  Those child actors were probably the most frustrating performances I’ve ever seen like why did Oz Perkins cast the kid playing theo’s son or ask him to at least try to convey emotion—OHHH he’s related to Conan O’Brien. Nice.

  Tough thing to review.

  Amazing that this is a directorial debut.

  But now, As I actually sit and take the time to think about what this accomplished, I feel like I gotta take back some of my admiration for this. There were moments where I couldn’t help but feel frustrated. We are glued to Saul, and this was honestly fine, bc he fucking killed it, but this might be what shot this movie in the leg for me.…
