  Whit Stillman’s got a style and keen interest that I can’t help but shake the feeling Richard Linklater must be a major fan of. This is the second film I’ve seen of Stillman’s, the other being Metropolitan, and they both hold the same analytical times-are-a-changin’ sentiment through a deceptively simple shooting style (an aesthetic David Mamet would appreciate if he doesn’t already, plus they’re dialogue heavy and play-like — Mamet’s roots).
