  Even better on the big screen, true to it’s tagline and gives us Ellen Ripley who kicks that Alien ass. The cast is top notch and Ridley Scott creates an incredible atmosphere throughout the film. There is no weak link or moment in this movie.

We see and experience the cycle do war from primarily the eyes of German school boy turne soldier, Paul. He comes with fiends and makes new ones at the front. The recreations of the trenches and Noam’s land are detailed, grim and brutal. They show the insanity and inhumanity of war.
