  I had been holding off on watching this because I assumed it would upset me; I was right. It is neoliberal bullshit that sucks Ronald Reagan’s shriveled little ghost cock. It is a performative “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” narrative that ignores every systemic problem in Appalachia by framing them as personal vices. In addition to all this, it is a film with no style or personality.
