Look, I'm not gonna pretend this movie reinvented cinema. It was very well made, very funny, and I'm sure it's not going to perform well enough to turn heads at WB.
I want more people to see this, but if you can't make it to the theater for the two weeks this will end up playing, try to check it out on streaming.

This movie had more cocaine than Rocketman, and way more monkeys.
This felt like if I didn't see it in theaters, I would never get around to it. I'm glad I did. There's a big screen spectacle to the musical numbers that rivals Rocketman.
You see him at his worst, and with the real Robbie Williams being not only alive, but involved in the filming and production, I appreciate the unflinching look at the worst of fame.
Like Mean Girls, no one in my life can believe I didn't see it sooner. I wish I had!
Full disclosure, I haven't watched this movie since I saw it in theaters. It's taking so much strength not to refer to the action as high octane.
The best part was after the movie, my dad driving through mild traffic, quietly screaming lines we could remember off the tips of our heads.
Are Mad Max movies all good? Should I watch the others?
