    Conclave

Not exactly a film I would expect myself to watch, but then again, I'll watch anything with Ralph Fiennes. The performances were spectacular, the pacing was engaging, and the story was compelling, playing on the politics of modern-day Catholicism. Although the score and atmosphere throughout the film seemed to imply something more sinister was going on, the ending surprised, if not slightly disappointed, me. Political undertones are cheap entertainment these days, and Conclave is another to cash in on that notion. Nevertheless, it was a good watch.

Sinister and seductive, with immersive cinematography and a few jump scares, Nosferatu was a horror experience unlike any other, that captivated more than it terrified.

Furiosa was an epic experience that far exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical about the casting, but Anya Taylor-Joy absolutely killed it and Chris Hemsworth was brilliantly diabolical yet broken. This movie had so many badass moments and seeing and hearing it in a Dolby theater shook me to my core. I will never miss a Mad Max film going forward.

Entertaining and genuinely clever, despite essentially being a two-hour advertisement for Saleka Shyamalan's music career. Had a few cringe-worthy moments, but what M. Knight film doesn't? Solid B movie.
