Continuing our family revisit of Nolan’s Batman trilogy. This was certainly more in line with the fast and chaotic action I remember these movies having, and I don’t think it would have been as impactful without the slow, philosophical set up of Batman Begins, which makes me appreciate Nolan’s vision in the previous film a bit more.

My wife and I decided to revisit a trilogy from my childhood and had to start where the Batman Begins. While there was less action in this than I recall as a kid, I appreciate the juxtaposition and philosophy which sets the stage for this film and the following two movies.
