The Wild Robot 2024
I don’t even have mommy issues and this damn movie had me SOBBING.
Some of the pacing was a little iffy at points but that is far outshined by the absolutely gorgeous animation and the phenomenal writing. I can’t get over how expressive the body language of each character is and the painterly animation is so mesmerizing.
It’s so good to see an original idea in animation again, I keep coming back to watch and re-watch this.Translated from by

I went in to this movie completely blind and frankly I was expecting a cheap horror movie with shitty nick cage acting. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. I was GAGGED. My flabbers were GASTED. It’s physiological, it’s unsettling, it is viscerally *uncomfortable*. The best way to watch this is to go in knowing nothing about it. Also when the FUCK did Nick Cage learn how to act??? Why is he such a good horror actor??
