  This was the first thing of Lynch's that I had ever watched, and so I felt like it had to be the first thing I watched after he passed.
  I haven't seen everything he's ever done, but that doesn't matter. He was-and is- my favourite director. I feel like he was the first director I could ever really say WAS a favourite.

  This was exhausting to watch.

  This was a frustrating movie for me, because there was a lot of stuff in here that I really enjoyed. The premise itself was really compelling, all the new lore it was adding in was really interesting, and a lot of the set pieces were really cool in a "wouldn't be insane if the aliens did this!!?" kinda way. Unfortunately, Whedon is Whedon and his actual writing gets in the way of the plot; nothing…
