  The Brutalist 2024

  I am pretty underwhelmed.

  Up until the intermission, The Brutalist had me totally hooked. The score is a powerhouse, carried along by amazing visuals, and i seemed to have a pretty clear sense of where the story was going. As someone who's a sucker for postwar American history the subject matter was right up my alley. It was also clear from the very first minute that all the awards buzz surrounding Adrien Brody was totally justified.
