  Fun and nicely violent. Didn’t quite go deep
  enough to make it super meaningful but I don’t think they were aiming for that. definitely had solid performances, good story and some twists to keep it entertaining.

  Gotta say that having a dad and being a dad makes this one linger a whole hell of a lot. After my heart with the pure humor and entertainment plus the super smart and thoughtful other stuff they slide in there without overdoing it.

  I was worried at first. That we’d be watching eisenberg and culkin playing the same characters they always play. And they were mostly. But about a quarter of the way through the characters got real human and real layered and even if you didn’t want to like the personalities they play you just couldn’t help yourself. It was such a human movie, and it dug deep without any melodrama. So good.
