  That sick (seemingly digital) POV shot of Waingro getting pistol whipped in the hotel is SO wild. Had to rewind and watch a few times.

  Pretty fuckin cool but, huge bummer, I just can’t get into the whole revolutionary war time period stuff.

  Went in with admittedly tepid expectations, since those trailers looked kinda sour and the whole "unnecessaryness" of these legacy franchise prequels explaining how a side character became their character almost never work.

  Luckily Furisoa works and it works incredibly well. While still never truly escaping the orbit of Fury Road, it does really all I want; carves out more of the modern Mad Max world while maintaining high-octan action set pieces.
