In the early locker room scene, my grandfather Donald Chaffin plays an Uncredited Detective who applauds Eddie Murphy and Paul Reiser before disappearing behind a corner. He was 60 years old and would have just become a grandfather. Retired from background acting not long after this film.

I had *never* heard of this before. Is there another film that so casually features the design, investor pitch meeting, funding, construction and ribbon cutting opening ceremony of a mini-golf course? Certainly not another framed within what should otherwise be a straight up Horror film.
But what it reminded me the most of, in its absurdity, was like an inverted version of Big.
