Absolutely stunning cinematography, idk what I was expecting but I was completely surprised by how good the shots, camerawork, and use of lighting was in this movie, creating an amazing atmosphere. Loved the actual thief parts and thought those sequences were very good (maybe cut a little too short). Wasn’t a huge fan of the dialogue at times and also the characters as well, didn’t think they were that interesting outside of frank. Overall really good movie that I’ll for sure be revisiting in the future, again was completely surprised by this one.

Amazing two lead characters, love how deep and real Therese and Carol feel as characters and two characters you really feel like you know personally while watching. Love to see their relationship grow throughout the film and that unease of not knowing what will happen in Carols marriage throughout. Amazing performance from Blanchett (and Rooney Mara of course) I really feel like anytime Carol is on screen she grabs all of my attention with her powerful energy. Amazing movie, love…

Perfection on every level, this movie never lets up with its beauty and amazing shots. Love the colorful and vibrant book set pieces, with the contrast of Mishimas real life and experiences in black and white. Such and interesting look at art and purpose and this is definitely one I’m gonna be rewatching shortly. I still don’t know how I had never heard of this man or his story until now but I’m glad I was introduced to him in this way, the best bio pic and date I say best movie.
