  I once met up with a man who was as close to the Dude as I will ever meet. He was very very intelligent, strange, middle aged and unmarried... he ran a blog and had this same sort of slacker mentality. He unfortunately died some months ago but I'm very glad I very briefly knew him. We talked in a friend's living room for some hours. It was hot. I was on medication that made me sore all the time…
