  watched this again to show my bf and definitely a special film. i love that he goes into this world of depravity and strange sexual desire also love that he always has someone singing on stage- love the julee cruise track in this also

  gets better with each watch, i love showing people this film because it’s similar to taking a friend on your favorite roller coaster
  I get so taken by isabelle’s performance, her eyes have so much inside them— also i realized this time just how impressive the blood is, not so much a blood of it’s time in being too bright red, or too thick 
  the blood here is A+

  I think I’ll have to rewatch this to write a fitting review because I’m kind of at a loss for words trying to write this
  but I can say there’s something about Yi Yi that resonates deeply with me 
  I think it’s the underlying fear we all carry of leading an unfulfilled life
  hanging on to dear friends, caring for and mourning family members, revisiting old relationships and reflecting on precious memories and people as the years go on 
  this was such a tender look at these elements of life and the shots were gorgeous with amazing pacing throughout 
  also the son:’-)
