  Basically racist, sexist homophobes against homophobia. Simultaneously regressive and progressive. Completely unhinged and offensive, but also woke. 

  This is worth a full anthropology course, a snapshot of a very specific moment in time. I wish I could actually do a study with a modern audience from all over the political spectrum just to see what would happen on this day and age.

  One of the most incoherent films I’ve ever seen (visuals, music and story are all over the place), and it seems it aged even worse: complete temporal mess as well, filled with weirdly unmatching influences that just don’t work together.

  My mistake for expecting something actually original from Marvel, I guess.

  This is hopelessly standard generic Marvel affair with some very lazy post-processing black and white “retro” filter simply added on top. Direction is frustratingly boring and unoriginal (the movie could be colored and you wouldn’t even see the difference), which is doubly annoying for the missed opportunity with the dark and oldschool aesthetics.
