Jenna Ortega has got some pretty great taste!
I’m all but certain I Know What You Did Last Summer was based off this film.
The cast was great, Paul Lynch has a lot of talent as a director too, the film was very well paced, edited, and has a surprising amount of flare with some exquisitely beautiful shots and vibrant colours!!
Jamie Lee Curtis is as great as always; it’s a low-budget slasher with a lot of style, I really loved this!

The first 40 or so minutes were setting up a decent story with some good humour in the mix; but holy shit did this just take a nosedive off of a cliff at the big reveal, if you know you know.
After that point in the film, the humour didn’t work, the story didn’t work, and Theo James’ flat line deliveries and attempt at a compelling father-son + brother reconciliation arch was cringe af.
Really disappointed with this, especially considering how much I loved Longlegs and The Blackcoat’s Daughter.

There isn’t one scene in this entire fucking movie that I can look back on and say I enjoyed.
Committed performances. Nice cinematography. That’s it.
