  Felt too long, a bit too boring. The blood effects really bothered me for some reason. In spots it looked like it lacked direction, but having read about the production I can see why.

  Kinski's performance is absolutely great though, the obvious highlight of the movie.

  Definitely didn't see it as the amazing work of art that most people consider it, but that may change for future viewings.
