  The original Whiplash. Finally watched after having it on my list for like 2 years. Crazy talented effects, and such a cool way to film a ballet movie. Random blackface (?) no words for that. My girl Vicky was done so wrong !!

  All men’s joy is women’s horror!! 
  To me, this movie made its point by having no drama or argument (between the couple) for the benefit of the viewer understanding and relating to Francois. The conflict is entirely within the viewer- watching everything unfold with peaceful serenity. A very interesting way to feel horror ! Disgust. 

  This movie made me want to kill my fake husband.

  Would like to know if this movie mattered to bob Dylan fans bc I just wasn’t the audience, I believe. Over all, I don’t think it did or said anything.

  Personal note: 75% of Timmy’s lines sounded like stuff my schizophrenic brother says, was it just cool to act that way in the 60s?
