What can I say? Philly Sey as a greasy priest. Merry Streep as an eagle-eyed headmistress. Incredible. Though by far what takes this over the top is Viola Davis' performance. For a struggling mother during integration, what sacrifices should you be willing to make?
Very tight story. As well, the nun outfits looked cool.
Not much here! Though Bollywood should be expected to lag behind trends in Hollywood, the manic pixie dream girl thing started 3 years prior to jab we met and I fail to see how it meaningfully built on the trope. Cardboard characters but the dance numbers did get me goin. Maybe that's the angle? As an ultra-camp version of eternal sunshine, jab we met surpasses all expectations.
No notes! The movie lived up to the hype.
"Where are all the men [in Sicily]? ... They all died seeking vendettas."
Pride and honor become flint and tinder even if they're subdued by higher commitments. How then can you be a man in a post-ideological, irreligious, and legalistic place like the US? Is Tom Hagen's "peacetime consigliere" model of masculinity our best bet? In any case the cinematography, executions, and tiddies were all top notch five stars ✨✨✨✨✨
