  i initially rated this 3 stars because the departing message left me extremely confused, but its been 12 hours and i get it now.

  her relationships (with men in this case) were transactional- or rather, had to be. i'm now stuck thinking about all the times i've sacrificed myself because of the need to repay every act of goodness shown to me, just to make sure i don't owe anyone anything. we often prostitute ourselves in ways we don't always recognise.

  jokes aside it took me a year and a half to finish the series- i was convinced i knew everyone and understood everyone but that's really how it goes i guess
