  Just such a masterpiece of classicist filmmaking. On this viewing, the restraint impressed itself on me; no rapid zooms, jump cuts, or really any shot that calls itself to attention. After all, when you have a screenplay this magnificent, and a cast the likes of which may never be assembled again, you let them do the talking.
